HIGHER, FASTER, STRONGER

In the School Games Federation of India, our student Milind Maurya represented Delhi state in school National held in Haryana. The Delhi team secured First position. Milind secured First position. Milind scored 182 by hitting 23 fours and 11 sixes. He was declared ‘man of the match’ for his astounding performance. Milind Maurya a student of VIII of our school is a rising cricketer. He is an outstanding sports person who has been representing the school in various sports such as Table tennis, Football, Taekwondo and Athletics.
 
In the 4th Zonal Gymnastics Championship held from 23rd to 25th July in the team events.
Our girl gymnasts under 12 year bagged the first position.
Boy gymnasts under 12 years were declared the runners up.
Girl gymnasts under 10 years were declared the runners up.

16th state Jeet Kune Do Championship –2004 held at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi on 5th Aug where over 500 student form 125 school and private clubs participated. Students of our school won I Gold , and 4 silver.
 
Manoj of VI C, the best judo player of our school, won Gold .
Yogansh of VI B won silver.
Dhruv of VIII C won silver.
Gaurav Ratawal of VI B won silver.
Tushar Kalra of IV B won a silver medal in the Swabhiman Sports festival Jeet-Kune-Do. Bharat Chawla of class VI won a silver medal, a cash prize and sports accessories.

In the Table Tennis Zonal Competition organized by Delhi school Sports and Activities Board, District of Education, Dist., West Zone-14 our students secured position in all the three categories.

In the Table Tennis Inter Zonal Competition
 
Organized by Delhi School Sports and Activites Board, Directorate of Education at Zudow, our Students qualified for the quarter finals in the Sub Jr. and Sr. Category.

In the Football Zonal Competition organized by Delhi School Sports and Activities Board , District of Delhi, Dist., West Zonal 14 of our students secured First position in sub-Jr. Categories. Kashav Rana was declared best Football player for year 2004-05.
 
In the Cricket Inter Zonal competition our school Sub Jr. Boys team secured Second Position, Milind Maurya and Jagpreet our Star Cricketers, were a part of the team.
 
In the Zonal Athletics Championship,  Sub, Jr. Boy Athletics squad won 02 Gold, 02 silver , 02 Bronze Medals

The school’s Cricket (U-16year) team qualified for the super league in the Parle-G National Cricket Tournament 2003-2004. The school’s girls U-14 squad participated in the Zonal Gymnastics Championship.
 
Rock Climbing

30 Students participated in the Rock Climbing Camp held at R.S.M.I. on 19th and 20th Nov.2004. Our students participated in the Refresher Climbing Camp at R.S.M.I. on 26,27,28 Nov, 2004.
In the 4th Delhi State Taekwondo Championship held on 14th Jan-05 at Mahraja Agarsen Public School 40 Students participated.  Medals won-8 Gold ,11 Silver,13 Bronze.  The students were placed in the First Place in Junior Team Championship.
This Championship was  inaugurated by Honorable Mr. V.V.S.N. Rao, Deputy Director (Sports Authority of India ) and Prizes were distributed by the honorable Chief Guest Shri Devnendar Shaukeen (Former Minister, Delhi Govt.) Sh. Kuldeep Rana, Sh. S. L. Gihara (Grand Master of India ).

Report of 17th National Jeet Kuno-Do Championship held on 25th & 26th Dec’ 04 at Talkatora Swimming Pool
50 students participated and medals won-3 Gold , 7 Silver, 8 Bronze.  This championship was organized by the All-India Jeet Kune in Do Federation.

This championship was inaugurated by Honorable Sh. Vijay Kumar Malhotra  and the Prize were given away by Honorable Sh. Sahib Singh Verma Ji (Former Labour Minister Government of India ) Mr. R.K.
